Title:
Observing Cyber Threats in New Habitats
Abstract:
As software systems expand into new areas of our lives, and as their designs evolve over time, cyber threats also expand their methods and reach. The Internet of Things, the shift to cloud computing, and ubiquitous encryption of network traffic all complicate the job of defending against threats. I will discuss a few ongoing projects within Symantec Research Labs that tackle new challenges that have arisen in securing this shifting landscape.
